Progress in research on the family of leucine-rich acidic nuclear protein

摘要 富含亮氨酸酸性核蛋白(leucine-rich acidic nuclear protein,LANP)家族是一类进化上比较保守的蛋白,主要由氨基端富含亮氨酸的区域和羧基端的酸性区域组成。1990年以来,LANP蛋白家族成员被陆续发现,它们在许多生物学过程中发挥作用,如细胞凋亡、转录调控、信号转导等,并且发现pp32可能作为抑瘤因子在癌组织中发挥作用。本文综述了近年来对于LANP家族蛋白的研究进展,主要对其结构特点及生物学功能做了较为详细的阐述。 The family of leucine-rich acidic nuclear protein (LANP) includes many evolutionarily conserved proteins that are characterized by an amino-terminal domain rich in leucine residues and by a carboxy-terminal acidic tail. During the past two decades, LANP family members have been discovered successively, and are known to be involved in various cellular processes including apoptosis, transcription, and intracellular signaling. LANP has also been implicated in disease biology as a tumor suppressor. In this review, the advance in structural and expressional characters of LANP family members ,especially their biological function and mechanism,is discussed.
