摘要 玻璃没有固定的特征强度值,其强度主要由其表面裂纹的分布所决定,玻璃的强度设计需采取保守设计思想。以玻璃强度基本理论为基础,给出并分析了断裂几率预测法、最小寿命预测法和寿命-断裂几率综合预测法三种玻璃强度设计方法。这些方法可为设计者提供给定玻璃的使用强度、断裂几率及预期寿命,还可为光学元件及其装配结构设计提供指导。 Glass does not possess a single characteristic strength. The strength of the material depends on the distribution of surface cracks. Conservative methods are often used to design strength for optical elements. On the basis of glass fracture theories, three strength design approaches to optical glass, which are fracture probability prediction, minimum lifetime prediction and probability-lifetime fracture prediction, are introduced and analyzed. These design results can help designer to get the safe strength, fracture probability and prospective lifetime. And the results can also give some instruction to determine the design of optical elements and assembly structure.
