本文首先对已定位的车牌进行旋转,接着进行灰度化及二值化处理,然后使用水平投影图进行去污,最后通过垂直投影图对车牌字符进行分割。在此过程中,通过计算最小面积进行最佳旋转角度的求取,较好的实现了旋转,保证了车牌字符的准确分割。

This article introduces the segmentation of license tag＇s characters. Rotate the license tag that has been located, make license tag gray, gray stretching, thresholding, and wipe off the noise though the horizontal projection. Then, segment and divide the license tag into single characters through the vertical projection. In these steps, the best rotating angle can be obtained to rotate the license tag better, which ensure the exact segment of the license tag.
