Construction of Foreign-language Medical Periodical Resources in College and Universities: Current Situation and Reflections

本文根据武汉大学图书馆医学外文期刊资源建设工作的实际,论述了网络环境下医学外文期刊资源建设是向不同载体共存互补发展,并通过网络文献传递来弥补现有期刊信息资源不足,这是高等医学院校图书馆医学外文期刊资源建设的发展趋势。

Based on the practice of foreign-language medical periodical resources construction in the Library of Wuhan University, the paper proposes that, in the construction of foreign-language medical periodical resources, traditional and non-traditional media should be given equal attention and network literature may compensate for the insufficiency of printed periodical literature, which claims to be the development trend.
