"The Peasant Boy Confronting Urban Civilization"——Pierre Bourdieu′s Biography and His Sociological Theory

关于布迪厄的生平有两种说法。其一是“都市文明中的农家子弟”;其二是“小资产阶级的成功故事”。这两种说法揭示了布迪厄一步步迈向法兰西学院的学术历程。由此可以概括出其社会学理论的三个特征:一、思想渊源的广泛性;二、超越二元对立的实践理论;三、“反思性社会学”。当今,研究布迪厄的思想具有重要的理论与实践意义。

It is generally accepted that there are two versions of Pierre Bourdieu＇s past. One is the peasant boy confronting urban civilization, and the other is that it is like to be a petit bourgeois and a success story. The two versions bring to light the hard and long journey of Pierre Bourdieu to the College of France. So we describe the three characters of Pierre Bourdieu＇s sociological theory. The first is the extensive origion of the theory. The second is the practical theory which transcend the dualism. The last one is the reflective theory.
