Introduces the principle of EMF, describes the application of the electromagnetic assisted stamping (EMAS) and magnetic pulse welding (MPW) in the automotive manufacturing in detail, points out the lately developmental trend on electromagnetic forming technology. It will play an important role in the Al automotive manufacturing.
