On Dance Music

我们熟知的最早的舞曲风格可能就是圆舞曲了,出现于18世纪晚期。然而,舞曲的历史决非始于18世纪。音乐的历史有多长,舞曲的历史就有多长。不同的时代产生不同的舞曲,不同的节奏产生不同的动作,新的节奏启发新的动作,所以新舞曲往往刺激了新舞蹈的产生。

As we know,the earliest dance music may be waltz, whic appeared in the late of 1700s. The history of music is just as long as that of dance. There is different dance in different era. Different rhythm leads to different movements. New rhythm inspires new movement. So new dance music often stimulates new dance.
