门禁安全和电源监控是有线电视机房管理的重要组成部分。主要讲述MSTP多业务传输平台在实现机房设备监控和门禁安全管理实际工作中的应用。目前广电系统普遍建立了用于节目和数据传输的SDH网络,许多有线台还建设了MSTP多业务传输平台,利用这一平台,可在很大程度上完善机房的日常维护和管理工作。

This paper discusses the application of Multi-Service Transport Platform （MSTP） in remote power monitor and access control, which are the most important sections of remote CATV equipment room management. Now many CATV operators have constructed a SDH network for data and video transmission, and some of them have even established MSTP, it is advisable to use MSTP to achieve effective remote CATV equipment room management.
