Summary on the Awareness of Citizens in College Education

公民意识是公民对自身的法律地位、政治地位及其与国家和社会相互关系的自我觉悟,是一个国家过渡到公民社会的重要前提和条件。中国要在本世纪实现现代化,全面建设小康社会,就需要不断加强大学生公民意识教育,实现优秀人才的永续供给。本文就学术界关于“大学生公民意识教育”问题的理论研究进行了梳理,以便促进对这一问题的深入研究。

The awareness of citizens is the citizens＇ self- consciousness towards their legal status, political position and relationships with the country and other citizens. It is the important premise and condition of a nation＇ s transition to a society of citizens. It is of great significance for China to strengthen the education about college students＇ awareness of citizens. The successful fuifillment of the project is the important factor for realization of the all - roundly well - off society; also it is the basic demand of the strategy to reinvigorate China through human resource development. The article has rearranged the academic and theoretical researches about the education concerning col- lege students＇ awareness of citizens in order to promote the further research about it.
