Reflections on the Studies of Translators Subjectivity in China from 1996-2005

近十年译者主体性问题成了中国译学界研究的新趋势和热点问题之一。它深化了翻译的文化研究,这必然促使二十一世纪的翻译研究由以语言和文化为本体的研究转向以人为主体的研究,即“译者转向”。译者主体性研究对探讨翻译的本质、过程、批评以及学科建设具有不可或缺的重要作用,然而此项研究尚处于探索阶段,还存在着概念界定不清,缺乏系统有效研究方法等不足。

The concept of ＂translator＇s subjectivity＂ has gained more and more attention in the field of China＇s translation study over the last decade. Analyzing the studies of the translator＇s subjectivity in China from 1996 to 2005, the authors explore the positive roles and the limitations that the new trend could play in translation study. The authors maintain that ＂the translator＇s turn＂ will prevail in translation study in the 21^st century.
