党的先进性是通过全体党员高度的思想觉悟和良好的综合素质加以体现,而党员的先进性是以党员的综合素质为依托和作为载体而发挥作用的。以顺应时代发展的理念,切实保证党员在推进高校改革、维护学校稳定,在促进高校发展的大局中始终走在前列,这是党员的先锋模范作用得以充分发挥的必然途径。

The exemplary quality of the Communist Party is manifested by the high degree of ideological and political consciousness and good comprehensive qualities of all the Party members. The function of advanced quality of Party members depends on their comprehensive quality and their deeds. To conform to the idea of development of the times, to ensure that Party member are pioneers in pushing ahead of college reforms, in keeping the colleges in order and in promoting an overall development of the colleges, are the ways for Party members to play their exemplary vanguard role.
