小说《伊芙琳》是乔伊斯短篇集《都柏林人》中最具代表性的作品之一。将小说中的女主人公伊芙琳与作者乔伊斯进行对比分析,认为伊芙琳在很大程度上就是乔伊斯本人当时心理状态的体现,乔伊斯本人就是他创作伊芙琳时的心理蓝本。
The novel Evelyn is one of the masterpieces in Joyce＇s works ot Dubliners. For tins novel, readers care more about the indifference of the then Dubliners and the symbolic meanings of the novel. By comparing the heroine of the novel and the writer Joyce, it is easy to find that Evelyn, to a great extent, is the incarnation of Joyce＇s own mental state at that moment. Joyce himself is the psychological archetype for his creation of the heroine Evelyn.
