官员的考核及监督机制的优劣是关系到一个社会吏治是否清明的重要因素。中国古代封建社会的吏治固然有其无法抹杀的阶级局限性,但其某些制度特点仍有值得借鉴之处。特别是其考核体系的完善化、制度化和监督体制的严密性,在今天依然可以为我们提供有益的参考。

The assessment and supervision of officials are important factor to maintain clear and bright in administration of officials. There is no doubt that the administration of officials in ancient China has its own limitation. But some institutional characteristics are still highly valued. Especially, the perfection and systematism of its official merit system and strictness of its supervising system can still provide instructive reference.
