Study on cadmium-free grid alloy for electric bike batteries

简述电动自行车电池用的Pb-Sb-Cd板栅合金的优缺点。为除去该合金中的镉,作者采用了一种稀有变晶金属,并调整正极铅膏配方及添加剂,试制的电池结果表明,其性能与采用Pb-Sb-Cd合金的相差不大。

The advantages and disadvantages of Pb - Sb - Cd grid alloy used in electric bike batteries were described in this paper. In order to remove cadmium from this gria alloy, the author made some tests by using a knid of metacrystallic rare metal combined with improved formula and additives for positive paste. As a result the performance of tested batteries was about the same as those batteries using Pb - Sb - Cd grid alloy.
