论学习文化对亚洲学生在英语国家课堂参与的影响 被引量:3

摘要 从学习文化角度探讨了儒家文化影响下的亚洲学生在澳洲教育硕士(TESOL)课堂里的参与情况,以及影响其课堂参与的因素。文章认为这些学生的儒家文化背景在一定程度上阻碍着她们的课堂参与。对教师的高度看重、对自身的高要求、低调而有节制的课堂行为期待被认为是她们课堂参与的阻碍因素。文章建议:亚洲学生应该了解英语国家的学习文化和自身学习文化的差别,正确认识影响课堂参与的消极因素,从而更积极地参与课堂活动,提高学习效果。
