The provisions of assessing the compressive strength of concrete are described. The provisions of the standards including ACI- 318 and EN 206- 1 are compared, and the differences between the standards were also analysised,at last several recommendations are put forward for the amendment of ＂Standands of Inspection and Assessment for Strength＂ （GBJ 107 - 87）.
