“华夷一统”思想是在“大一统”思想基础上形成的处理民族关系的重要指导思想,初步形成于春秋战国时期,发展、完善于以后历代王朝。在治理东北边疆过程中,“华夷一统”思想既起到了积极作用,也起到了消极作用。

The thought of ＂hua-yi unified＂ is the important guiding ideology on the basis of ethnic relations. It is initial formation in Spring and Autumn Period, developed and improved in subsequent generations dynasty. In the governance of the north-east frontier process, ＂hua-yi unified＂ ideology had played a positive role, but also played a negative role.
