Reconsideration of the Law on Righting the Inappropriate

中国自清末以来缺乏对传统法价值的理性分析,未能真正做到吸之精华、弃之糟粕,使法的变革缺乏传统动力的支持,这也是近代以来中国法的变革举步维艰的重要原因之一。现阶段我国法治建设中存在的问题,主要是立法滞后于社会的发展。所以我国法治建设必须要矫枉过正。

Since the end of Qing Dynasty, China lacked rational analysis of the traditional values of law, and failed to discard the dross and assimilate the essence, thus depriving the institutional reform of the support from traditional dynamics, which causes the great difficulty of the reform of law in modem China. At the current stage, legislative lagging behind the social development is the serious problem in our building of law;therefore, we should keep alert in righting the inappropriate in building our law.
