The water, which is an irreplaceable resource of human being＇s existence and development, is the foundation of the sustainable development of both economy and society. This paper analyzes on the features of the water resource from the angel of sustainable utilization of the water resource, expounds the present situation of developing and utilizing the water resource, and puts forward some countermeasures for the sustainable utilization of the water resource.
