The true philosophy of Laozi

老子哲学智慧的核心是治国之道,在其哲学体系中,老子不但提出治国的最高境界在于无为,而且还对治国方略进行了具体规划。对于道的解读、老子哲学的来源及其归隐之路,也应从老子的本意进行研究,力求以老子之道治老子之学,回归老子哲学的本来面目。

The core of philosophical wisdom of Laozi lies in the principle of governing the country. In his philosophy system, he not only advanced the idea that the highest ideal of governing the country consisted in inaction （ meaning letting things take their own way）, but also made the specific plan about the strategy of governing the country. This paper discusses the understanding of Taoism, the origin of the philosophy of Laozi and the cause for his retreat from the perspective of his true intention so that we can know the true philosophy of Laozi.
