Discussion on the Types and Traits of Metonymy Words in Ming Dynasty Novels

从明代开始,小说语言开始由文言向白话过渡,一批新词也应运而生,运用借代方式产生的借代词语便是其中的一类。从造词与构词角度对明代小说借代词语进行初步探讨,分析这一时期借代词语的类型与特点。

From Ming Dynasty, the novel language transfered from classical Chinese to colloquialism, so many new words including metonymy words were produced. This paper discussed the metonymy words in Ming Dynasty from the point of word coinage and word formation, and analyzed their types and traits.
