《绿窗新话》平质

Study on Lǜchuang Xinhua(《绿窗新话》)

《绿窗新话》一般被认为是宋代说话人必备的参考书,甚至被认为就是一部话本集。窃以为,此类看法尚待商榷。《绿窗新话》的性质可能是类书,殆与《侍儿小名录》、《姬侍类偶》诸书性质差近,本来未必是为说话而设,作为话本集,未必是《绿窗新话》编者的本意。其对说话界之影响乃在客观上,而不是编者本意即欲使之成为小说用书。《绿窗新话》中的各篇标题及篇目分合,疑皆非宋本原貌。

Lǜchuang Xinhua has always been considered as a reference book for stroytellers in the Song Dynasty,and even as a collection of storyteller＇s script. But this view is consuhable. It might have served as a reference book, similar to such books as Shi＇er Xiaoming Lu or Jishi Lei＇ou. It wasn＇t necessarily compiled for storytellers though it had exerted much influence on storytelling objectively. The present tides of the different pieces in it and their classification might not be the same as the Song Dynasty edition.
