Non-traditional Machining Technique for Insulating Engineering Ceramics

摘要 针对用机械磨削方法加工绝缘工程陶瓷存在成本高、效率低和工件表面易产生微裂纹等问题,国内外学者开展了大量的研究工作,并取得了较大的研究进展。概述了绝缘工程陶瓷的激光加工、超声加工、电火花加工、等离子弧切割等特种加工技术,并对这些加工技术的原理、特点和应用状况等进行了分析评述。 A lot of research and development work has been done to solve the problems shown by the mechanical grinding of insulating engineering ceramics, such as high machining cost, low efficiency and easily producing the crack on workpiece surface. Many achievements of machining insulating engineering ceramics with non-traditional machining(NTM) process are obtained. The new developments of the techniques for machining insulating engineering ceramics, such as laser machining, ultrasonic machining, EDM and plasma arc cutting technique are summarized in this paper. The machining principles, characteristics and applications of these techniques are analyzed and reviewed.
