This paper simply analyzes the challenges in information collection, storage and development faced by enterprises and puts forward the large database concept on information constructing and sharing in the view of whole industry chains. Then it introduces the connotation, meaning, system structure of the large database concept. At the same time, it discusses the mechanism for the implementation of the service model concerned in aspects of database tool sets, version control, database division, safe copies, etc. All these are beneficial to those large information services enterprises.
