谈谈翻译中的选词

选词是翻译中的第一步,也是翻译中的一大难题。从“香港回归”的翻译入手,分析选词的重要性,指出翻译时词义选择正确与否直接关系到原文思想的传递和译文质量的提高。并从语言语境、情景语境和文化语境3个方面,分析影响词义选择的关键因素———语境。

In translation, the choice of words or shades of meaning is the initial step and it is also a very difficult process. Starting with the analysis of the translation of Xianggang Huigui, this paper analyzes the importance of diction and points out that whether it can be done properly exercises an important effect on catch- ing the exact meaning of the original and producing better versions, and analyzes context, the key factor influencing the choice of words, from language context, situational context, and cultural context.
