该文就杭州仅存的两处明代民居———茅宅、陈宅的特征作了介绍。。它们中的不少构件与结构都较为相似，尤其表现在斗拱与柱础上，如一斗三升，鼓形石柱础。

This thesis intends to make an exploratory introduction to the features of the civilians' dwellings of Mao House and Chen House the only survivals of the Ming Dynasty wooden buildings in Hangzhou.They bear similarities in quite a few components and structure, especially in bucket arch and plinth. For example, three same level brackets inserted between the top of the column and the cross beam, and the material and shape of the swelled stone plinth all exhibit the characteritics of the times and the region.
