The problems are presented of the bricks on the conical bottom of the localized coalwater slurry gasifier, quench ring and downcomer cylinder in operation in the large nitrogenous fertilizer plant. In line with these problems, the causes are analyzed, and countermeasures for their solution are proposed in terms of equipment and process renovation, process operation, and equipment management.
