在总结湿热地区传统民居气候设计经验的基础上，对该地区现代建筑的设计原则和设计风格做了较详细的探讨，最后以住宅设计为例，叙述湿热地区应采取的建筑技术措施。

On the basis of the climatic designing experience of traditional residence in tropical zone, the designing principles and styles of modem building is introduced in detail. Finally tacking residential design as an example, the architectural technological measures which should be adopted in tropical-zone residential design is discussed in the paper.
