文章系统回顾了2000多年来贵州人口增长与区域开发的进程及其人地关系的演进特征,从人口增长、水土资源开发和环境变迁等角度揭示了这一自然、社会环境特殊的地域,现代社会人地矛盾形成的历史根源,以此为契机,论述当前主要人口、资源、环境问题,探讨协调人地关系,实现区域可持续发展的对策.

Based on a systematical looking back on the historic progress of the population increasing and the development of the region over past 2000 years, there elaborates the characteristics of the evolution of the man-earth relationship, and from several aspects such as population increasing with land and water resource developing and the changes of environment ,it also reveals the historic cause of relationship of the special region in modern society. In the end, focusing on a series of serious problems in population,resource and environment,the paper probes into the way of coordinating man-earth relationship and achieving sustainable development.
