软件反向工程在现代社会具有极其重要的作用，但滥用则会违背知识产权之根本保护法理，理应受到法律规制。英国是一个软件反向工程适用立法较完备的国家，其主要适用立法包括欧盟相关立法《软件指令》和本国专门性立法《软件条例》。
The software reverse engineering has important value in the modem society. But too abuse it will contravene the basic law theory of the knowledge＇s protection, so it must be regulated by law. U.K is an application law more perfect country in the software reverse engineering. It main includes European Software Act and Software Regulation of its own special law.
