On the Prediction of Rain Attenuation for Earth-Space Propagation Paths

摘要 本文是对1989年 CCIR—5末期会议的一个专题总结报告,给出了目前世界上地空路径雨衰减预报研究的基本情况,指出:今后的研究应向低的纬度地区、低的路径仰角、雨媒质的精细结构以及更高的频段发展。 This paper is a report delivered at the CCIR-5 final study group meetings in 1989.Existing prediction models are summarized.Suggested topics for further inves- tigations in the near future are also given,e.g.,those propagation paths in equatorial regions,as with low elevations,during heavy rainfall periods,and the fine structure of rain media;and at higher frequencies;etc.
