From empiricism to speculation: a retrospection to management research methods

管理研究中学派林立是因所使用的研究方法不同所导致。实证方法、社会建构方法、比较方法和思辨方法等各学科的研究方法都被引入到管理研究之中。管理研究方法的多元化虽然推动了管理理论的发展,但也使管理研究很难达成统一,这种状况在未来一段时间仍将持续下去。

The co-existence of many schools in management research has resulted from the use of multi-methods. There are many research methods of other sciences such as empirical approach, social construction approach, comparative approach, speculative approach in management research. Although multi-methods of management research prompt the development of management research, it makes an integrated research in management impossible and it would continue for a long time.
