习语对外语学习者来说是重要的环节,也是学习难点之一。本文将英语习语分为可以分析解释的修辞性习语和很难或不必分析解释的非修辞性习语两大类,并主要从探讨习语的活用及如何从语法结构的调整两个方面加以例证,从而说明英语习语的结构是否可以灵活变动。

Idiom is of vital importance and one of the difficulties for foreign language learners. This article divides English idioms into two categories： analyzable and explainable rhetorical idioms and disanalyzable and unexplainable non-rhetorical idioms, and mainly illustrates whether their structures can be flexiblely changed grammatically and semantically.
