格律诗是中华民族的文化瑰宝之一,但五四以来对格律的片面指责影响了格律诗的传承,在试图取而代之的自由诗又没能很好发展起来的情况下,使我国的诗歌创作显得冷清。针对此种情况,客观分析了格律诗格律的文化蕴涵和它给予创作的自由,以期人们全面地认识格律诗,并积极从格律诗中吸取必要的营养,促进自由诗的发展和繁荣。

Metrical verse is one of the Chinese cultural treasures, but the exparte rebukes since the May 4th Movement in China has affected its inheriting. As the free verse trying to replace it has not developed well, the production of poems in our nation appears bleak. In this case, this article analyzes objectively the cultural connotation and the freedom provided by metrical verse in order that people could fully understand metrical verse, and absorb necessary nutrition from it to improve the development and prosperity of free verse.
