WTO has formulated a general agreement on worldwide professional service, to facilitate international employment and movement of engineers. Accordingly, the international equality of engineer qualifications and evaluation of engineering education systems become an urgent need. In this paper, the engineer qualification and the accreditation systems of engineering education in some areas in the world are compared. h also reports briefly on the accreditation visit of an engineering education program in USA as a reference.
