The Reflection of Non-English-Major Postgraducate English Teaching Under New Circumstances

旧的研究生英语教学大纲已不适应新形势下的教学要求。文章从提高研究生的英语语言输出运用能力;压缩英语基础课程,重视专业英语的教学,加强阅读;改革教学模式,进行研究生分级教学;充分利用多媒体、网络等现代教学手段;改进考核方式,提高教学效果;加强师资队伍建设,提高教师素质这六个方面思考了非英语专业研究生英语教学的出路。

The old postgraduate English syllabus has outgrown the new situation. The paper reflects the outlet of non-English-major postgraduate English teaching from six aspects, that is, improving postgraduates＇ output ability of using English, reducing basic English curriculum, putting emphasis on the major English teaching, strengthening the reading skill, streaming the students to make the teaching pattern reform, making fully use of multimedia and web, improving the assessing system, improving the teachers＇ training program and fortifying the qualities of teachers.
