传统手段与多媒体辅助手段在英语教学中的结合

On the Combination of the Traditional Teaching Methods With the Multi-media-aided Teaching Method in English Teaching

传统教学手段以语法教学最为典型,它以教师为中心,注重语言基本知识的讲授;多媒体辅助手段教学基于多媒体和网络技术,改变了原来以教师讲授为主的单一课堂教学模式。本文通过对大学英语专业的教学现状的分析及对传统教学法和多媒体辅助教学手段的特征及优缺点的分析,提出多媒体辅助手段的应用是现代英语教学发展的必然趋势。

One of the typical traditional teaching methods is Grammartranslation Method （GTM）, which is teacher- centered in order to control the teaching process and concentrates on the delivering of basic language knowledge. While Multi - media- aided teaching method, based on multi- media and network technologies, changes the original monotonous teaching mode. By analyzing the current situation and the advantages and disadvantages of both teaching methods, the authoer points out that the latter is the tendency of future development, and that only through a reasonable combination, will the students＇ abilities of applying English be able to be improved and teaching quality to be enhanced.
