In this paper,the operation conditions of epoxy heavy anti corrosive coating adopted on passenger cars and solvent type thick paste alcohol acid paint adopted on freight cars are introduced.It is considered that adoption of high performance,long life protective coating is one of important ways in enhancing service life of railway cars.
