In this paper,the working principles and structure features of the CLC type train wheel transducer are introduced.This instrument has such features as independent to the running speed of wheels,strong anti interference performance,ability to determine axle center accurately and discriminate the running direction of the train,so it can be extensively applied to regions including speed counting,car counting,axle counting,train running direction discrimination and axle temperature measurement.
