摘要
英语是一门发展学生语言能力和思维能力的学科,英语教学的目标是训练思维,训练语言。阅读教学和作文教学都应让学生受到思维训练,养成思考的习惯。为发展英语思维教育,教师本身要有思维精神,创造条件发展学生思维品质,教学应先于发展,反对低效的“重复性”建设,努力从生物学、心理学、哲学、逻辑学等多角度,去了解人类思维与人类语言。
English Language is a subject to train students' thinking ability while cultivating their language ability: Obiective of English Langtiage Teaching: Training of both language and thinking ability. Reading and writing lessons should serve to train students' thinking and help them form the habit of thinking. To develop English Language Thinking Education. we teachers should have thinking spirit ourselves and create condition to develop students' thinking character; Teaching should be prior to development; inefficient repetition should be avoided; human thinking and language should be studied perseveringly and extensively.
