摘要
以彩电Gamma校正的最新进展为背景,介绍了3种电视显示模型,并针对现有Gamma校正电路的不足,提出了Gamma校正的改进方法,其在硬件开销和精度控制上达到了很好的折衷。实验结果证明该方法在基本保证图像质量的前提下,可大大减小芯片面积,节省功耗。
Using the latest development of gamma correction in color TV as a background, this paper introduces three types of TV display modeling and, considering the disadvantages of the conventional gamma correction circuit, the paper puts forward a new algorithm to improve it and makes a good compromise between hardware budget and precision control. The results show that this algorithm can greatly reduce the area of the IC chip and save the power without any deterioration in the quality of the image.
