油菜是玉溪的主要油料作物，也是当地人民的主要食用植物油。指出油菜产业化开发对玉溪烤烟生产、畜牧业发展、农业结构调整及农民增收有积极的推动作用，并提出玉溪油菜产业发展对策和建议。

The rape is the main oil crop,also is the main edible plant oil in local people.The paper pointed out the development rape industry to have the positive role for smoke production,the animal husbandry development, agricultural structure adjustment,increasing the income to farmer in Yixi .And proposed the development countermeasures and mentality of rape industry in Yixi.
