学术期刊开展国际交换是扩大期刊传播面、加强国际文化交流、提高知名度与影响力、加快国际化进程的有效措施。现状是编辑部自身开展国际交换工作的动力不足,交换规模严重萎缩。国际交换的可行途径是:广泛调查研究,选择交换对象;积极主动联系,建立交换关系;严谨守信,加强管理;随时调整,确保质量;争取经费,保证交换。

To establish international exchange channels for an academic journal is an effective measure to make the Chinese journals reaching a wider audience, benefit the information and cultural exchange, raise the profile and increase the influences, and catch up the international standards. It has been discussed that most of the journals are not paying enough attention to such exchange with less and less journals commit themselves for such regular exchanges due to cost increases. Successful exchange channels could be set up with the following process： initial contact to establish the willingness of the other party, decide which journal for exchange, establish the commitment, keep promises with efficient management, make immediate adjustment when matters arise to keep the quality, and secure funding to ensure the exchanges.
