朱启钤与中国营造学社

Zhu Oiqian and the Society for the Research of Chinese Ancient Architecture

著名的古建筑学家,实业家朱启钤历任晚清,北洋,民国三朝政府的官僚要员,拥有广泛而又复杂的中外社会关系,所以很长一段时期,学术界忽视了其在中国近代学术文化事业上的贡献。今天,对朱启钤这样一位对中国古建筑研究卓有贡献的开创性的学术研究先驱者,我们应当予以重新审视与评价,他在南京发现了《营造法式》并组织专家校勘,怀着藉文物而怀想古代文明的心情,搜集整理营造学文献资料的工作,并先后组建了“营造学会”和中国营造学社,出版了许多学术水平很高的著作,培养了一批古建筑专家,对中国建筑史学做出了重要贡献。

Zhu Qiqian enjoyed extensive and complicated social relations in both China and foreign countries since he had taken important governmental posts during the late Qing Dynasty,the Northern Warlords Period and the Republic of China. During the restoration period,he used to serve Yuan Shikai and did a lot of work against his will.Accordingly,for a long period of time,the academic community ignored his contribution to modern Chinese academic world by discarding him as a reactionary politician.We shall now review and reevaluate his contributions more objectively and recognize his achievements in the research of ancient Chinese architecture.He got Architecture Rules,an ancient literature on architecture,in Nanjing and organized experts to emendate the book.In order to revive ancient civilization and to collect ancient architectural literature,he established China Construct Society and the Society for the Research of Chinese Ancient Architecture,contributing a lot to the research on the history of architecture in China.
