张载“太虚即气”哲学思想的提出弥补了古典元气说形而上学不发达的缺陷,确立了他在中国哲学史和思想史上的重要地位。“动非自外”的内因观;“一物两体”的矛盾观等内含朴素辩证法光辉思想的提出更是将古代朴素唯物主义发展提升到一个新的阶段。
