This study starts from the word of ＂sheep＂ , and further talks about the usage of metonymy thinking in the process of making Chinese characters from the sides of ＂ meaning＂ and ＂ phonetic＂ Thereafter, the concept of ＂ Chinese characters building method of metonymy＂ is brought forward.
