On Tendency of the Rural Vocational Education in the New Era

新时期农村职业教育既要培养为农业服务的技术和管理人才,又要为非农产业培养技术管理人员和产业工人。当前,农村职业教育必须做到:取长补短,理顺基础教育、职业教育、成人教育关系;大胆突破,改终极教育为终身教育;高度警惕,远离应试教育;量力而行,丰富专业设置;展望未来,保持较大规模。

In the new era, rural vocational education is supposed to train technological and management talents for the agriculture. At the same time, it is also supposed to train technical management personnel and the industrial workers for non-agricultural industry. Presently, rural vocational education must achieve the following objects： straighten out the relation of the elementary education, the vocational education, and the adult education; change the ultimate education for the lifelong education; stay away from the exam-oriented education; enrich the establishment of the specialization and maintain a large scale of the rural education.
