With the fast development of city plaza, it is the mission of new epoch for us to arouse people＇ s attention and devotion to it. City plaza is the symbol of a city. It is the most prominent materialized sign of the culture of a city. It is also an important part of the life of city people. This paper gives a profound pondering upon the problems existing in the construction of city plaza and puts forward five principles in the construction of individualized city plaza, which is of significance and value for us to further develop our national culture and local culture in the planning and construction of city plaza.
