Carrying Out Eight Dos and Don'ts in the Whole Process of Contemporary University Students' Ideological and Political Education

胡锦涛总书记提出的“八荣八耻”荣辱观,集中体现了中华民族传统美德和时代精神的核心内容。在当代大学生中倡导和树立社会主义荣辱观,就必须通过课堂教学、社会实践、校园文化建设的途径,全面提升大学生的思想道德素质,使大学生真正成为落实社会主义荣辱观的生力军。

General Secretary of Communist Party Hu Jintao proposed socialist concept of honor and disgrace—Eight Dos and Don＇ts, which intensively manifests traditional virtues of Chinese Nation and the core content of the zeitgeist. In order to advocate socialist concept of honor and disgrace among the contemporary university students, it is necessary to improve their moral quality comprehensively by means of the classroom teaching, the social practice, the campus cultural construction, thus making them the main force that can truly realize the socialist concept of honor and disgrace—Eight Dos and Don＇ ts.
