摘要
衡阳失陷是由多方面的因素造成的,其中有蒋介石对敌情判断失误而导致战略部署上的失当、敌强我弱、战争的残酷给衡阳守军坚守衡阳造成极大的困难等等。但不可否认的是,衡阳失陷不仅使坚持了47天之久的衡阳保卫战的成果荡然无存,而且使广西门户洞开、陷前来解围的国民党军队于险境,对整个战局造成了严重的后果。
The reasons of the defeat in Hengyang Defend War are various： improper strategy disposition by Jiang Jie-ship the enemy was superior than us , difficulties caused by the war to our defending force, etc. The worse is that the defeat not only caused the 47-days defent nothing, but also make ways Guangxi open and the KMT troops which came to the rescue of the besieged fell into danger. It produced serious consequence to the whole war situations.
